Step 1: Material

This will be the base for your lanyards. It may seem like an arbitrary decision, but each option results in a different look!

  1. DYE-SUBLIMATED

These lanyards are fully customizable, with vibrant colors heat-transferred onto Hi-Def fabric, creating a silky-smooth lanyard.

Dye-sub Lanyards are soft and durable, made with comfortable polyester. They allow for full edge-to-edge customization, with color matching for your branding!

  1. SCREEN PRINTED

Colored ink is applied on top of the lanyard fabric. The ink gibes this lanyard a slightly raised texture.

These Lanyards are made with a flat polyester material, and are durable and comfortable to wear. They allow for 1 color imprinting.

This unique rope-style lanyard combines comfort with durability.

Step 2: Size

3/8" and 3/4" lanyard width options

Dye-Sublimated and Screen Printed lanyards also come in multiple widths. The classic sizes are 3/4" and 3/8", but custom sizes are available as well.

Step 3: Breakaway

Depending on your industry, you may need your lanyards to have a breakaway function, so that if tugged on, they will "break away", keeping your people safe.

Step 4: Attachment

This step is important because it determines how your lanyards will interact (attach!) with your badges or credentials.

An open-ended lanyard would be appropriate for credentials with a double slot. If your lanyards will be used for keys, you may want to go with a split ring. For a typical one-slotted badge, you'll likely choose a swivel hook or bulldog clip.
