Custom Interface: We recognize that for software to be truly easy to use, the user should have the ability to customize the interface to give the software the look and layout that works best for them. LexID gives you the ability to customize the look of both the navigation screen and the data entry screen. You can choose from several attractive pre-designed "themes" for the navigation screen, or load your own background bitmap and color scheme. LexID allows you to customize the data entry screen, or the main work area of the program, so that all fields are exactly the size and color you want, and in exactly the location you want. Wizards: Let's face it. Not everybody is a software guru. That's why we don't leave you to fend for yourself when setting up the system. LexID incorporates easy-to-navigate wizards that guide you step-by-step through the process of setting up your database, data entry screen, and card design. Of course for the more technically inclined, we provide all the advanced tools you need to provide the fullest flexibility in setting up your system.

Printing: LexID will print to virtually any Windows® compatible printer, including most card printers. You have the option to print a single card at a time, flag a record for printing at a later time, or batch print all records that meet the criteria that you specify. Forms & Reporting: In addition to printing ID cards, LexID can also generate full-page dossiers or forms for individuals, with the option to print a single record or multiple records per page. LexID also gives you the ability maintain audit trails and to generate reports on card production statistics, printing histories, and system access logs. Design Features: ID cards have come a long way from the days of laminated paper cards and die cut photos. A well-designed card says a lot about the personality of your organization. That's why LexID gives you a full suite of user-friendly design tools to help you craft just the right look for your needs. But it isn't just about looks. ID cards must be functional as well. And LexID gives you the tools to make your cards work. LexID supports most industry standard barcodes, including 2D barcodes, and works with magnetic stripe cards and smart cards as well. You can even add conditional objects—text, barcodes, shapes, or graphic images that will only appear on the card under the conditions that you specify. For example, for security purposes, you may want to have a different graphic or background color appear on the card depending on the access level assigned to the cardholder. Data Access: LexID gives you several options for accessing and storing data for your cardholders. You can create your own database, tailored to fit your needs using our database builder wizard. You can also link directly to a wide variety of existing data sources. You also have the ability to create reference tables to allow read-only access to external data sources, such as HR, security/access control, or time and attendance applications. IDMX for Enterprise Installations: If your organization has the need for high performance enterprise connectivity, our IDMX software has what you are looking for. IDMX provides all the powerful features of LexID, but adds native connectivity to SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2 environments for maximum flexibility and performance. IDMX gives you the ability to link a large number of users and/or manage large numbers of cardholder records across your enterprise. Network IDMX gives you the stability, performance, and scalability that ODBC connected systems just cannot provide.
